Who are Black and White Pixels?

Black and White pixels are a design company. Our aim is to produce quality, professionally styled websites that are affordable to both individuals and small businesses.

Black and White Pixels produce all our websites from scratch. That's to say we begin with nothing more than a blank page in Notepad.

No templates. Just your plans and our ideas. From here we write the code for your webpage and use CSS to style it and throughout this process we check it against W3C standards.

What are Web Standards?

W3C are responsible for defining the web standards that we work to. All our websites are validated and checked this way. W3C validation ensures that the websites we do conform to basic web standards, and therefore are accessible to as many people as possible.

Accessibility has been in the press over recent months due to new government legislation requiring websites to be equally accessible to people with disabilities and impairments, such as the partially sighted. W3C validation ensures these standards of accessibility are met. In the process it also helps your website to reach the biggest audience, to people with old PCs and old Web browsers, textreader software or even handheld equipment.
